Welcome to EquiArts 2025!
A virtual forum where we come together as an Arts and Screen industry to celebrate the achievements, discuss barriers, and promote opportunities available to Deaf, Disabled and/or Neurodivergent artists and arts workers in Australia.
EquiArts 2025 will take place online on Monday 1st December 2025.
Our full program will be split into two forums, each offering unique speakers and session topics. If for whatever reason a ticketholder is unable to join us on the 1st of December, there will be a recording of all sessions available to view until the 15th of December.
Forum 1 will be 9am to 12:15pm AEDT and focuses on the following arts disciplines: Visual arts and crafts, galleries and museums, literature and libraries, photography, archives
Forum 2 will be 1:00pm to 4:00pm AEDT and focuses on the following arts disciplines: Screen and digital games, dance, classical and contemporary music, theatre and live performance
More details on the forum program will be announced soon, so stay tuned.
Early bird tickets are available until 11:59pm on 14 November 2025.
We offer reduced-cost tickets for members of the DDN community. This includes people who identify as D/deaf, disabled, and/or neurodivergent. We also offer free tickets to those who identify as First Nations and to companions such as support workers or carers who are attending the event to support a fellow participant.
After registering for the forum, you will receive a confirmation email which will include the event details.
If you have any issues with registering or if this form is not accessible to you, please reach out to us at EquiArtsAustralia@gmail.com
We look forward to welcoming you online to EquiArts 2025.
